The Photography of Lon Casler Bixby
Born in Rhode Island – I was the only male baby in the nursery, so the nurses put me in the middle (with all the girl babies in a circle around me) and called me the king of the nursery.
High School in Tucson,AZ. Parents raised horses. I did a little rodeo — rode bareback broncs, bulls, etc… I got stepped on by a bull in a rodeo and – needless to say it ended my rodeo career. College in Texas. Graduated UT-Arlington with a BFA in film.
After College, I worked as a Producer in the film industry in Dallas making commercials etc… Also managed local bands and musicians before moving to LA… Here in LA, I have my own photography & film production company.
On the photography side, I shoot, fashion, commercial, product & print ads, model portfolios, headshots and artistic & erotic photos. On the film production side, I have worked as a writer, director and producer on various commercials, movies, etc…
Prints of the pictures that will be listed on this site will be for sale with a portion of the proceeds going to help battered & abused families. Please contact the photographer.
