Per December 7th The POWERotics Foundation hosts the online version of the leading "Boudoir Noir" magazine within it's BDSM portal site. About Robert Dante

Robert Dante, 46, is a journalist, scriptwriter, poet, photographer and theater critic who has been 'out' as a leather/SM lifestyler since 1989. He has produced, directed and performed in several BDSM videos, including the SM instructional erotic video, 'Bullwhip: Art of the Single Tail Whip.'

Dante has been featured on TV programs such as HBO's Real Sex, TVO's Studio Two and CBC Newsworld's Chronicle, and he is the subject of the feature documentary film, 'Tops and Bottoms,' produced by award-winning Cristine Richey and released in 1999.

In 1992, Dante moved to Toronto, Ontario, where he founded Boudoir Noir, a nonfiction magazine about leather-fetish-consensual SM lifestyles. Boudoir Noir hosted a successful bi-monthly Fetish Night for three years, was recognized by mainstream media as a credible resource and was a member of the Canadian Magazine Publishers Association.

Dante has presented workshops and lectured on bullwhips, whipping, censorship and SM lifestyle issues in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Columbus, New York City, Boston, Toronto, Montreal, Winnipeg, Dallas and Houston. A bullwhip expert, Dante has presented workshops and seminars at many events, including Living in Leather, Dressing for Pleasure and Leather Fest. Interviews with and articles about Dante have appeared in Nugget Magazine, Toronto Star, Masthead Magazine, Globe and Mail, The Sun, MacLeans Magazine and others. He has spoken on numerous radio programs in Canada and the U.S. on SM practices and
lifestyle issues.

Boudoir Noir co-produced the documentary 'TLC: A Year in the Life of a Leather Club' in 1995. Dante contributed the chapter on bullwhips to the book 'Screw the Roses, Send Me the Thorns.' Dante lives, performs and writes in the Los Angeles area.

The POWERotics Foundation tries to avoid the obvious stereotypes and offers open information on all aspects of
erotic power exchange, without being pornographic. The POWERotics Foundation offers non prejudiced information
and opposes prejudiced or discriminative legislation, including efforts to limit the freedom of speech on the
Internet as well as elsewhere or efforts to limit the right of people to inform and express themselves.

The POWERotics initiative was born on the Internet when a group of friends decided it was time to set up a
facility, totally dedicated to the Maledom/femsub erotic power exchange culture. At that moment in time there was
little or no dedicated information available. The initiative has been non-profit from the start. The
POWERotics Foundation is a Dutch-based organisation with an international board with both male and female
boardmembers. The Foundation heavily relies on a volunteer team, but just as much on members and sponsors. Its sites are visited by tens of thousands of people every day. The POWERotics Foundation deliberately keeps it membership fees at a very reasonable level, in order to try and keep the treshhold to information low and available to
