I was born and raised on the outskirts of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Basically I've been living in Suburbia my entire life and in the past year or so am beginning to have frequent trips to the inner city to have somewhat of a more social life. Basically I was a nobody growing up. I went through elementary and junior high school completely unnoticed. High school was alright for me, no real problems, up until around the Columbine era where some of my teachers began to ignorantly suspect me simply because I wore black clothing and was considered "different" than most kids. I was taken aside a few times or asked to stay after class to have talks about my "feelings" on the situation. I put up with it though, and managed to survive. After high school I attended a year of college at Penn State Berks in Reading, Pennsylvania. I majored in Computer Science but found it extremely boring and not to my liking. The same went for the area I lived in. Eventually every Wednesday night I would go with the few friends I had on campus down to Philadelphia (an hour and a half trip from Reading) to this club called Shampoo. At first I hated the scene, being the anti-social type. However after a few more trips I began to grow accustom to the people and eventually loved being there. It's been somewhat interesting growing up and seeing the people around my hometown. There are very few people interested in the same things as myself. From the way my mother reacts and the people I've met in my life I am sometimes surprised as to how I maintained being the way I wanted to be.
