What made you interested in running a webcam?:
I have run my AOL web site since July 1997. http://members.aol.com/apinkcow/ On my "about me page" I would post clean, but sexually suggestive quick cam pictures of myself. I changed the pictures about every 2 weeks. I started getting email from people wanting more and more pictures. Finally, one man suggested that I add a live window. I put it up thinking that no one would even want to look at me, and to my surprise the first night my counter jumped 1000 hits, 3 days later I was getting about 10 thousand hits. By the end of the first week AOL told me that I wasn't allowed more then 2000 hits per day, and that my images were pushing their terms of service to the limit and asked that I remove the live cam before they shut my site down. So that is when I got my own domain name and the rest is history.
